Italian Stability Law 2016: Maternity Leave needs to be included in the measurement of Performance-related Pay Elements
Italian Law 28 December 2015 no. 208 (so called Stability Law 2016), art. 1, co. 183, requires Italian companies to include mandatory maternity leave in the measurement of work attendance as far as the awarding of Performance-related Pay elements is concerned. Art. 1, co. 205, extends mandatory paternity leave to two days (as previously highlighted in the news section of this website, the proposal for an extension to two weeks was rejected).
